Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is an extremely popular Indian actress. Keerthy appears in Tamil films as well as Telugu films, and also in a few of Malayalam. In 2018, she was awarded the National Film Award Best Actress Award for playing the role of actress Savitri. In addition, she has received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the child of producer of film G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actress. Following her study of fashion design, she went back to film. Her debut lead role came in 2013's Malayalam film Geethaanjali. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). In 2015, Keerthy accepted her first projects outside of Malayalam and signed on to appear in several Tamil films simultaneously. It was A. L. Vijay, and Vikram the director, that released Idhu Enna Maayam in 2015. The movie didn't do quite well, however it did release. In order to accommodate bigger projects because of her busy schedule, she had opted to not participate in certain films which she started to work on. This included Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romantic comedy) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. In the end, she was also involved in two projects, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo featuring Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played the role of Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. But, the movie has been in the process of being delayed, and there are speculation of a release date after September 2020 under a different title, Janakitho Nunu. The film's debut was the 2016 film Nenu Sailaja which starred actress Ram Pothineni. Keerthy was first seen on screen in Bairavaa (directed by Bharathan) with actor Vijay.
