Jillian Noel Hennely was born on the 25th of November, 1968. She is a highly accomplished Canadian actress and performer who has contributed a major contribution to American TV. She was the main character in the American television series Law & Order, where she entertained audiences as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. She also put her acting abilities shown in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as in Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. In these films, she showcased her co-directing and writing capabilities. Hennessy began her acting career with her sister in 1988 playing twin call girls on the show Dead Ringers. She starred on Broadway as a part of the show Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story in 1990 and stepped into the realm of sci-fi back in 1993 when she played her character Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. Her breakthrough came at the end of 1993, when she was cast as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. In three seasons, her character was well-loved by viewers. She left in 1996. Parker was in movies like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys On The Side, West Wing Angels In America and Boys on the Side. Her role was recognized with an Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award for her role in the series. Parker was also awarded the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her performance as Proof in the musical Proof on Broadway.
